This book tells the story of Jack and his beloved toy pig, Dur Pig or DP. On Christmas eve, He loses DP and gets a horrible replacement called the Christmas Pig. But Christmas Eve is a time for toys to come alive! The Christmas pig takes Jack to find DP in a magical land before the Loser, a toy – cruncher eats him up.
I rank it as 4 stars, because the book and the story are amazing. I think JK Rowling really made this amazing fantasy book and it also has great pictures. It also is a holiday book for the holidays.
On the other hand, it could improve by having fewer pages because it has over 250 pages but that’s all because it’s a really good book.
A fun fact about this book is that it was written by JK Rowling who also made Harry Potter.
