This book tells about how many human species died out and one survived as well as how life in the stone age was. It also tells the story of a professor who is learning about early humans, he goes to a presentation, reads multiple books and reads hilarious comics. The book also tells how the very basic pillars of human life were building up and then there were medieval cities and then modern states. First, people live in caves and find and cook food, then people live in medieval castles with thriving economies and then a modern state. The book gives examples such as companies and manufacturers.
I rank it as 3 stars, because the book was a comic but the content was kind of boring to be honest. I think the book itself and what it talks about is really interesting but its just the way they choose to describe it.
An impressive scenario is when homo sapiens survived and all the other humans didn’t. It was not clear why the others died but somehow, they were the only ones who survived. What was impressive about it was that the other humans also were successful but somehow only sapiens survived. Somehow, homo sapiens were the only surviving species, we are homo sapiens! We have used our resources, invented writing and more complex machines.
On the other hand, it could be improved by making the context more interesting. I think the book was good but the context was too boring because the speech bubbles were too large.
A fun fact about this book is that one of the ancient humans was found from one fossilized finger.
